Husson Wight’s Strength & Conditioning Facility

Orrington Barn

This is really a special residential architecture project. Designed to complement a 19th century mustard-colored farmhouse in Orrington, this understated street-side profile extends back over a rocky hill to allow a two car garage, tractor garage, wood shop, and split-level loft above.


The intent is to open a restaurant that will serve wood-fired cuisine, and possibly craft beer (modeled after Bangor Blaze). It will have a cozy atmosphere that appeals to both “out-of-staters” and locals alike.

Bangor Blaze (Upstairs)

This is the Phase 2 project to complete the original vision of a two-story tour de force for the Bangor location of the Blaze restaurant franchise.

Brewer Vet Clinic

Serving the greater Bangor area for over 30 years, a young veterinarian recently acquired this established veterinarian clinic and started an ambitious redesign and expansion of the existing facility.

Curran House

A modest little home residential architecture project built on a shoe-string budget on Mount Hope in Bangor Maine. The young couple wanted a split-level ranch that was energy efficient and roomy, with plenty of natural light and a dash of higher-end finishes without breaking the bank.

Loon Call House

This residential architecture project is really a work in progress that will cover likely 3 years of construction as a Waterville native returns to the area to renovate and beautify a sprawling home on Great Pond.

Kenny U-Pull

What started out to be a custom piece of furniture, turned into the renovation of an old warehouse into a retail facility for a large Canadian company, ironically called American Iron and Metal, out of Montreal, Quebec.

Houghton’s Pond Bath House

The Blue Hills Reservation is a popular destination for the Greater Boston area, and Houghton’s Pond receives more visitor’s than any other part of the reservation. Houghton’s Pond bathhouse regularly hosts as many as 100,000 visitors during the summer.

Melnea Cass Ice Rink

Located in the heart of Roxybury, MA, this was another project by the DCR intended to revitalize the community by renovating a once popular, but long-abandoned ice rink facility. This is an example of a project that has had a profound effect on the community.

Seth Ventress Town Hall

The purpose of this historic restoration project was to bring back to life an 1895 library. This three story Victorian structure served as the town’s library, police station, town hall, high-school and is now offices for the school department.

Blaze Restaurant

A top-notch restaurant renovation in Bangor, Maine, in an historic downtown making a comeback. This is the second restaurant for the Blaze franchise – it’s first is in Bar Harbor. This is a historic renovation of a two-story space in the old Whig and Courier building.

Finback Roof Garden and Lounge

Finback Restaurant hired Ervin Architecture to be their architect on a very exciting project along one of the main thoroughfares in Bar Harbor, and has asked Ervin Architecture to design a roof garden and lounge complete with a kitchen, and full bar.

Bangor Family Dentistry Dental Office

This project is what being an architect is all about. Construction for this 3800 sf medical office building broke ground in the fall of 2012, and will be open for business in the spring of 2013 on outer Stillwater in Bangor.

Downeast Orthopedics Associates

The new Downeast Orthopedic Associates Medical Facility will be located on Ridgewood Drive in Bangor, Maine. The building will contain reception & waiting room, medical exam rooms, X-Ray rooms (2), PT/OT area, nurse stations (3), and offices.

Husson University Wadleigh Academic Center

The new academic lounge represents a commitment on the part of Husson University to their student-athletes, and Ervin Architecture is proud to have been an integral part in the design and construction of this dynamic new learning environment.
